GENTAGEN PLUS WSP

Aminoglycoside class that acts bacteriostatic
against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.

Composition
Each 1 gm contains
Gentamicin Sulphate BP  :              150 mg
Sulfadimidine BP               :              100 mg
Trimethoprim BP                :              50 mg
Excipients                            :              q.s.

Gentagen Plus is a bactericidal antibiotic that works by irreversibly binding the 30s subunit of the bacterial ribosome, interrupting protein synthesis.

Indication:
Gentagen Plus is indicated for gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by micro-organisms sensitive to Sulfadimidine, Trimethoprim, Gentamicin like Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E.coli, Klebsiella, Hemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and streptococcus spp. in calves, goats, poultry and sheep.

Dosage & Administration:
Poultry: 1 gm per 2 liters of drinking water for 4-5 days or as advise by a veterinarian.

Contra Indication:
– Discoloration of teeth in young animals.
– Hypersensitivity reaction.
– Prolonged application of high doses may result in
neurotoxicity, ototoxicity or nephrotoxicity.
